Britain's Wimbledon Girl's Champion Laura Robson has made it through to the Tradition ICAP Liverpool International Tennis Tournament final.
Robson will face Portugal's Michelle Larcher De Brito in what promises to be a mouth-watering final. Robson beat Tamaryn Hendler late on Friday, needing a tie-break in each set.
It will be an all American affair in the men's final as Vince Spadea takes on Mardy Fish. Spadea has made the Liverpool final twice before, but has never got his hands on the Boodles trophy.
Spadea lost successive finals in 2006 and 2007. It was Belgium's Xavier Malisse who proved too much for the rapping American in '06. The following year Spain's David Ferrer, who went on to finish second in the Shanghai Masters, lifted the title.
Mardy Fish, a fellow American, stands in the way of Spadea lifting the Liverpool International title for the first time.
In the women's final Robson will be looking for a tough match against a fellow Wimbledon wild card, Michelle Larcher De Brito.
Both girls have been given the free-ticket entry to the All England Championship. Robson will become the youngest ever competitor since Martina Hingis in 1995 and will be looking to build on her Girl's Singles Title she won last year.
Larcher De Brito, flying up the rankings in 2009, will also be hoping that her final competitive match on grass proves a successful springboard to Wimbledon.
Don't miss out on watching these two great finals. Tickets are still available from the Calderstones Park box office. Play starts at 12 noon.
