Germany's Michael Stich won his final Legends' Singles match on Sunday to clinch the title of Tradition ICAP Liverpool International Tennis Tournament Legends' Champion 2009.
Stich beat Anders Jarryd 6-4, 6-3 to top the group comprising of Younes El Aynaoui (MAR) and Barry Cowan (GBR).
Earlier in the day El Aynaoui had beaten Cowan 8-6, but it was Stich's three straight wins against the other Legends that handed the German the trophy.
The German joins Goran Ivanisevich (2008) and Pat Cash (2007) in the Liverpool International Legends' Roll of Honour.
Due to some rain delays the matches were a mix of Pro-Sets and three set matches.
